Apple today opened and application and registered a demo account on an application under review they opened the Application at 18:12 today its now just under 6 hours this happened so what are they playing at?

You just take a look at an application do a function (Have prove) and they just take a break and return. Surely it does not take 6 hours to confirm a App Store application.

Kinda Annoyed with the App Store Review Process.

The design as seen below was drawn up and 9 hours later an Beta Application was ready this was tested and submitted for release after it was tested by Ollie Kett and William Young.

The idea was brought to our attention by William Young after seeing out LockMail application he wanted to view tasks from his Lock screen.

We're starting to develop a system which allows us to send pictures straight from our devices either laptops, computers or mobiles on the go. This system will be linked with this blog and below you can see two items which have come in from a photo upload.

You can see this example below however its in Beta and only works on the homepage. We're working on obtaining a grid view for the system as well as lightbox pop-up style as this will be better for the user to view.

Today was the release of the Windows 7 operating system i was able to download my copy a few minutes past midnight last night.

I have downloaded the copy and installed in on a Virtual Machine on my MacBook. As backing up on my Windows Machine it taking amazingly long 106GB of the network to backup and then check everything is there doing this by files in a folder and size of network.

You can watch some of my Windows 7 live stream here. (Not Live anymore)

Connection gets cut and i lose the ending part however you can catch up with the images on my mobile uploads found on Facebook.

Adding all this up Windows 7 is fast compared to Vista and may even be faster then Windows XP. This looks a good operating system which has come out of Microsoft and it might just push them back into the market. To provide them with a very large hold again.

Looks Good

21 October 2009, 9:38 PM

Windows 7 is released tomorrow or at midnight tonight. You can download it straight from Microsoft online. Students with either .ac.uk (Uni) and .sch.uk (Sixth Form, College, High Education).

You can purchase a copy for £30 + £4 for a service which offers you to download it any time you wish so you can redownload. Also for £9 you can get them to sent you a copy.

So £30 + £4 + £9 = £43 = Bargin!

So this allows you access to Home 32 & 64 bit as well as Professional 32 & 64 bit all for £43. Seeing that Professional is retailing at £159 this is saving you alot.

£159 - £43 = £116 Saving! Thats a saving of just over 72% on the Retail price. Tidy :)

So if your a student take up on this offer now at

These most likely also work on other platforms other than the iPhone

Ok, Many people use various applications for the App Store and pay to use there Hotmail account its actually free to connect using the stand application via POP3 & SMTP.

Use the follow settings to connect using Mail App on iPhone

Firstly setup an mail account as "Other" the following details are then to be used. Enter username and password. Click "Next".

Important: Make sure you select POP3 at the top

Incoming Setup

Host Name: pop3.live.com

User Name: username@hotmail.co.uk

Password: password

SSL: ON

Port: 995

Outgoing Setup

Host Name: smtp.live.com

User Name: username@hotmail.co.uk

Password: password

SSL: ON

Port: 587

These settings work like a treat on my iPhone. Currently i use my own email server and Exchange so i will not be using this feature however many people do use this an i've setup this up on a couple of people's iPhones now and it works

A simple line of code may have been annoying some of you that use our products in our activation platform some of you might have now we're been having a few issues over the last fews days this is actually because of a stupid error code mistake.

This part of the code

or die();

Only being 9 characters long (include space) was causing error across the whole platform as it was performing an error out instead of running the code.

Very annoying :( - Anyways a remote patch has been supplied and it seems to be working now.

18 October 2009, 11:56 PM

If your on of those people with LockMail crashing then you will most likely be on the 3.0 or 3.0.1 firmware. This is because LockMail was completed on 3.1 SDK and with a 3.1 device. As LockMail was started as a project on the 3.1 SDK i have not looked into downgrading my SDK them compiling for 3.0 as this would seem a large waste of time for me as most devices should have 3.1 or above as Apple also seems to have this shown in the App Store now.

So the way to solve your problem is simply upgrade to firmware 3.1 or higher - It will be better for you as well as it contains bug fixes and updates by Apple. Upgrading may require you to follow a method on iClarified for help.

How my Activation Platform works and why it cannot be broken.

On the client side upon the first open they will connect with server and receive a 0 then go to activation stage them complete the payment and return where the device is activated then there UDID and unique changeable key is send to the registered server and updated. You now have access to the application.

Upon access the application again it goes straight in to the application upon notice that the device UDID state is registered. However the red rings show that these stages could easily be broken to allow then application to open without fail which would mean access to the application. However yes you have access to the application but are blocked from the server.

Upon opening on the application a new 32 charter key is generated and updated to the server via your UDID. This key is processed by the server so it will check the remote database for a 1 or 0 once it goes to the server and check this is where your hack would break as it would require for the server to 1 to then generate you a new access key. So if there server shows as 0 and the client side shows as 1 you will not be generated a key meaning that the application would just open and work however data saving and input fields within the application would not process and to process they require the generated access key which is unique every time.

Access inside the Secure Access Layer (Orange Box) requires matching UDID, matching generated key and a value of 1. Any data inside the orange box means it checks this data every time so the if 1 statement process by the check is run inside the Secure Access Layer.

16 October 2009, 10:36 PM

So its time i started developing for the App Store. I submitted my first test application on the 4 October but did not say anything as it was really just an application to go though the process of getting into App Store ready. The main concept of the application is to display an a display of this blog in an application from an RSS feed. Its simple but just an simple application to get to the app store.

However on the 14 October, 10 days after submission, Apple rejected my application due to the issue that is there was no connection to the device or it was present in Airplane mode that it would display no data. I have now corrected this with an alert which displays the error and resubmitted to the App Store. Hopefully will be released shortly.

For a trial time i've built a comment system and im going to allow the users to leave comments if the system becomes useless or covered with Spam then i will just close comments off.

At the moment the comment system will require a security check to make sure your a human or a computer.

To connect to the LockMail Connect API / Platform you do so in the follow method

connect,udid,key

An example of this would be

connect,

Application data sending between connected server and receive. When accessing data on a remote location via application it requires two things a unique UDID and  unique Key. The UDID can easily be taken and used to obtain information so also a Key is used. This Keys all the time.

Upon editing your data your Key becomes invalided and if you quit without saving then a new Key will be generated the same as if you will save a new Key will be generated. This key will update a random times - Different for each users.

Upon a change you may be asked to open the application to reset your new Key with your device.

This Key system is programmed to make sure the data is 100% secure the connect between the server during this periods is made via 128-bit SSL

Last night an issue occurred with an old application named SweetMail our connection system to this domain name was restored online as part of our auto-backup process and therefore it regained server. This was an complete error for SweetMail.

However it was not completely a mistake as it was tasked to restore. We are hoping to release a better version of SweetMail with a new name and more features then SweetMail offered. Watch this space.

[qtitle]PHP 4, 5[/qtitle]

$var = htmlspecialchars("<a href='test'>Test</a>", ENT_QUOTES)

Once i want to read out from the data i use.

[qtitle]PHP 5.1 >[/qtitle]

We've recently completed the website of an air spray artist Andy Hosegood. We developed a website to display all his work and show it off on a classy website.

I trained in illustration, although at the time, the subjects that interested me horrified my tutors!
